| ELECTRE : CGM V4 Export |
ELECTRE’s new version V10.10, which will be released in Q3, comes with a new export application.
This application converts 2D ELECTRE drawing files into CGM version 4. The CGM V4 increases the file intelligence by adding additional non graphic information to the image such as descriptions, notes and component’s highlights.
Example: The cable becomes highlighted while the mouse’s cursor moves over it. The cable’s attributes such as its reference and type are then displayed. |

| CATELECTRE : Analysis of harness segments’ connection issues |
CATELECTRE makes it easier to visualize and find harness’ segment connections handled in CATIA.
CATELECTRE analyzes all possible connection errors between the entities of the same bundle throughout the CATIA V5 design: bad connection between a harness segment and a connector, bad connection between two harness segments, bad connection between a CAP and a harness segment, etc. Each time a bundle is analyzed in CATIA, CATELECTRE checks for errors and provides assistance to the user to: |

•
quickly detect errors, zoom on it, highlight the segments issues and solve the problems,
•
warn about the connection issues earlier in the process (which greatly reduces the edition cost, as a later modification cost is higher),
•
rout the wires in an optimal way, once the connection problems are solved. If, at the end, some of the wires cannot be routed, the user will know this is due to the project design itself and not to missing connections in CATIA

| SMARTELECTRE : Automatic titleblock update |
SMARTELECTRE, which already handles collaborative management, PLM and ELECTRE’s historic files management, is also ensuring the synchronization of titleblock’s attributes between ELECTRE and SMARTEAM. .
Each time ELECTRE files are updated, SMARTELECTRE will automatically synchronize the whole set of attributes affected by the titleblock modifications. This synchronization, which can be completely customizable and bidirectional, will for instance update revision numbers of the drawing sheets. At any time, when using ELECTRE, the user can see, without any mistake, on which drawing release he is working on. |

| This makes unnecessary multiple goes and backs from ELECTRE to SMARTEAM and eliminates any error’s source. |
